2024 CAIRE Research Symposium

Equity Considerations in Immunization Research, Evaluation, and Education

The objective of the meeting is to discuss how to better incorporate equity considerations in vaccine research, including how to measure and use EDI data in different study designs, how to embrace EDI on research teams, and how to ensure our research integrates community perspectives of under-represented populations. Speakers include researchers with diverse methodological approaches and/or experience working with diverse communities, as well as community representatives with experience working with researchers. In this interactive symposium, researchers can share perspectives with one another and gain new insights to refine protocols and strategies to advance EDI across the immunization research spectrum.

Organizing Committee: Dr. Shannon MacDonald, Dr. Tiffany Fitzpatrick, Dr. Catharine Chambers and Brynn McMillan
